"And it all started with a playful bet."

When two friends decided to build guitars without any know-how, there was no way to predict the outcome. However, this is exactly what happened, and when they decided to document the entire project on YouTube, ApkKai’s story began. The first guitars, considering their skills, turned out surprisingly well, which fueled their enthusiasm to make more. The next ones were clearly better, and the idea of making instruments for others was born. This marked the beginning of their adventure into the world of instrument building, and there is no end in sight.

Custom guitars and basses

ApiKai custom instruments are made entirely according to the customer’s wishes. The body shape can be based on a model from another manufacturer or designed entirely by the customer to their own specifications. The parts are also selected according to the customer’s preferences. Before finishing, we go through the neck shaping and any requests for painting and surface treatment together.

We use a laser cutter, which allows us to create complex solutions, such as fretboard inlays or desired patterns on the guitar body. Check out the guitars we’ve made on our website via the link below.
